In the summer of 2020, Adventure Corporation began experimenting with NFTs and digital collectibles. One of our first projects was Wrestlemojis - crypto-collectible tokens featuring wrestling-inspired emoji characters.

The Birth of Wrestlemojis

Wrestlemojis represented our initial foray into blockchain-based digital collectibles. Built on Ethereum and powered by Toshi, these collectible tokens allowed wrestling fans to own unique digital characters. The project combined our passion for emerging technology with pop culture, creating a bridge between traditional entertainment and blockchain innovation.

Technical Implementation

The project utilized several key technologies:

• Custom smart contracts for NFT implementation

Community Response

The initial release featured characters like “Marty The Moth” with the “Why Thank You” token, which was offered as a free mint to introduce users to the concept of crypto-collectibles. This approach helped lower the barrier to entry for users new to blockchain technology.
